Shipping within Canada

Avalanche Safety Solutions ships via Purolator (Ground), Loomis and Canada Post.  If your purchase qualifies for Free Shipping (and you don’t select a paid option), we will determine which method we will ship by.

All orders over $100 (before tax) qualify for Free Shipping. Due to high costs of shipping, we cannot offer Free Shipping in the Atlantic Provinces + Quebec + Northern Territories. These zones enjoy $15 flat rate shipping.

Due to a huge surcharge from Shipping companies, we do charge $20 for the shipment of full (charged) canisters.  Wherever possible, we have given you the option to select an empty canister to avoid this charge, but have also tried to keep this Dangerous Goods Shipping Fee to be less than the cost of re-filling the cylinder once received.

We ship to the address you provide us and provide tracking information for your package.  After it leaves our warehouse, it leaves our control and any tracking or loss of the package is not our responsibility.

After your order is processed, you will receive an email with a tracking number for your purchase. Occasionally, if your purchase is very small (i.e. burst discs), we mail ship it via Canada Post Lettermail, in which case no tracking number is available.

Shipping to the USA

Oof! This is not happening right now. The influx of Crazy Tariff World means we can't predict if you're going to have to pay an extra $400 for your avalanche shovel or we are, so it's all on hold! We recommend you buy from one of the amazing independent shops across 'merica!

Shipping to Other Countries

Our on-line store does not allow shipments to countries outside of North America, but if possible, we will make arrangements with you to do so. Please email us at store@avalanchesafety.ca to see if international shipping is available to you. We'll calculate shipping costs and ask you to pre-pay via PayPal prior to shipping.
