BUYERS’ GUIDE
The external carry means you can grab your shovel without opening the pack, which matters when you’re digging out a stuck sled. Check that your shovel’s shaft works with the external carry before you buy, and ask us if you’re unsure. We carry the BCA Dozer line, and the Dozer 2T is a popular match for sleds.
The torso fit runs 45.7 to 53.3 cm, which is on the taller side, so measure yourself before you order. This is a non-airbag pack. If you want airbag protection, look at the Float 25 Turbo 2.0 or the Float E2-25 Turbo, which have the same sled-specific layout with an airbag built in. Whichever pack you choose, carry a beacon, probe, and shovel and know how to use them.
