Pure mohair is the glide specialist of the skin world, if you're racing, doing long fast-and-light days, or just hate the drag of a heavier skin, this is the one. The tradeoff versus a mohair/nylon blend like our Glidelite Tour is durability and grip: pure mohair is genuinely more delicate and won't out-grip a blend on steep, icy skin tracks, so if you're mostly doing technical, variable terrain rather than fast-and-efficient tours, the blend may serve you better. A few practical notes from people who've used them: building and trimming your first pair takes some patience, the STS system is a little fiddly the first time through, but gets much faster on subsequent skins once you know the process. Some users on narrower or XCD-style skis found no adhesive strip down the center and had to add their own for full contact, worth checking your ski width against the sizing before you buy.
