The Float E2-45 is Backcountry Access's biggest-volume airbag pack, built for long distance ski tourers and anyone who needs room for a full day (or overnight) of gear. With 41-45L of capacity, this is the pack for missions where you're carrying more: extra layers, repair kit, overnight essentials, or just the peace of mind that comes from not having to Tetris your pack every morning.
Under the hood, the Float E2 runs on BCA's Alpride E2 supercapacitor system, which is lighter and more compact than the previous generation and stays reliable in cold temperatures, exactly when you need it most on a long day out. It's TSA-approved for flying with, so it travels as easily as it tours.
Volume-focused features make it built for the long haul: an expandable roll-top for extra capacity when you need it, a Side Stash pocket and Back Stash zip for on-the-move access without stopping to dig around, a dedicated safety tools and snow saw pocket, hip belt pocket, and a ventilated backpanel to keep you comfortable over hours of skinning. Removable ski/snowboard/compression straps mean the pack adapts to whatever the day throws at you.
If you're the person who always seems to need "just a bit more room" in your touring pack, this is it.
