Check your back length first. The S back system is sized for 36–44cm, so measure before you buy. This is the biggest factor in whether this pack fits you well.

This is a touring pack with airbag protection built in, not a freeride-specific one. If you're mostly lapping resort sidecountry or doing short freeride days, the Tour's extra features (rope attachment, map pocket) may be more than you need, look at the Freeride zip-on instead.

36L is a real multi-day volume. It'll swallow extra layers, food, and overnight gear without issue, and the separate safety compartment keeps your rescue kit fast to access even when the main pack is full.
