The Haute Route has been around almost since ski touring itself, and it's still the pack we reach for on the long days. Built from Cordura and PFC-free double-layered 420D Oxford with a PU coating, it shrugs off scuffs, rock, and wet snow better than most packs at this price. The O-Flex-2 back system with S-shaped stabilizer does the real work though, spreading load evenly between hips and shoulders so you're not wrecked by hour six of a big tour.
At 32L it's built for multi-day missions: a spacious main compartment opens from both the front and back so you're never digging to the bottom for one buried item, and a separate safety compartment keeps your shovel and probe fast to grab when it matters. Rope attachment on the lid means you can rig up without opening the whole pack, and it'll carry skis, a splitboard, or snowshoes depending on how you're getting up there. Whatever the tour throws at you, the Haute Route 32 is built to carry it.

This is a touring pack, not an airbag pack. If you want built-in avalanche airbag protection, look at our Litric or R.A.S. lines instead. The Haute Route is about capacity and carry for long days, pair it with a standalone transceiver, shovel and probe.

32L suits multi-day and long single-day tours. If you're doing shorter lift-accessed laps or sidecountry, you'll be carrying more pack than you need, size down.

Back-panel access is the standout feature here. Being able to get into the main compartment without unpacking your whole bag is a genuine time-saver on cold transitions.

Built tough. The Cordura and PU-coated fabric make this a good pick if you're hard on gear or ski in wetter, rockier terrain like we get around here.

Rope attachment matters if you're doing glacier travel or steep couloirs. If that's not your terrain, it's a nice-to-have rather than a dealbreaker.
